Harvest Acres Farm is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization! The goal of the farm curriculum is to support the exploration and development of a farm project that will enable us to become a place that provides productive activities, practical skills and a holistic setting for individuals living with mental illness.

Our mission is to be a place that provides a healing and caring environment of productive activities that will inspire hope and contribute to the health and well-being of individuals with mental illness allowing them to achieve their full potential.

A program using psychosocial clubhouse principles to create an atmosphere for people with mental illness to engage in meaningful occupations.

The Rainbow Fund was started in memory of our daughter Cassandra Grace Duncan. She was almost 15 years old when she took her own life the day after Christmas 2005. Since her death, we have learned so much about suicide and mental illness, and how so many people and their families struggle every day to survive. The Rainbow Fund continues to strive to expand its programs and to bring awareness and hope to those living with mental illness. When we first started, all funds raised by The Rainbow Fund were donated to NAMI-Rhode Island (National Alliance on Mental Illness), now that Harvest Acres has become a nonprofit, all funds go to support our free mental health program.

Due to COVID-19, The Rainbow Race Has Been Canceled This Year
